We all know bad habits can destroy our health. But, there are habits that we are accustomed to so much that we tend to disregard the fact that it is potentially dangerous to our health in the future. What are those bad habits that you do not know? Here are some of them.
Skipping breakfast. Skipping breakfast is the last thing you should do in the morning. Never go out of your home without having a full belly. Breakfast gives you the energy you need to last an entire morning at work. Having a full belly at work gives you great advantage than those who skip breakfast.
Drinking alcohol can sometimes be fun and relaxing. We have all been there, drinking in festivity but you should also remember that a glass of wine or beer has a total number of 120 calories and yet we chug down four or even more glasses. Save yourself the hassle of collecting calories by passing the bottle and read a book.
After a day of work, we all want to simply relax and watch TV then we suddenly doze off and fall asleep on the couch. This can be relaxing but what we really need is sleep that is purely uninterrupted. By the time you get around 20 minutes of sleep, you tend to be awakened by the fact that you are in front of a loud TV.
Coffee and all the extra. We tend to love coffee with a little bit of creamer and some whipped cream and other flavored syrup. Chances are, the more you add to your coffee the more you add calories to it. Ditch the whipped cream and go for honey.
Eating quickly. We tend to eat quickly especially if we are down to the last minutes of our lunch break. So, as you chow down what should be a twenty minute meal into a five minute break can be dangerous as you may well be rushing yourself to an acid reflux. Try to eat and taste the food first before you shove it down your throat the next time.
Some women often sacrifice their comfort for the sake of fashion. This goes for men too. Wearing the wrong shoes can pose a threat to your posture and your overall gait. Even though you will not be able to feel the pain, hours and hours of walking with your high heels can take its toll on your feet. Wear comfortable flats instead.
Brushing should be done right after every meal and should be done right before you sleep. Plaque can easily build up the moment you say to yourself that you'll brush your teeth in the morning.
